42 (One Paragraph Review)

The story of triumph is brilliantly executed and told with spot on storytelling. Harrison Ford brilliantly portrays the man who puts Jackie Robinson in the game. The guy who plays wash in Firefly is in this and he is despicable, but that's good because it makes it better when he gets his comeuppance. I would have like to see more of the baseball games, but I guess that this movie isn't about that. It keeps the focus on Jackie Robinson like it's supposed to. This has many dramatic, emotional and even awesome scenes. The dialogue in these scenes is very well-written. The ending is perfect for this film and satisfying.


  • I like how not everybody is a racist in this movie; makes it seem more realistic
  • speeches/monologues are well written and executed
  • actors all do a great job

If Batman: Arkham Knight Was Good

Two years after it came out I'm still sore from the crushing disappointment that was Batman: Arkham Knight . After one awesome game with Asylum , one of my favorite games of all time with City  and a decent prequel with Origins  I don't know why I expected a game to live up to that kind of legacy. It was a Dark Knight Rises situation all over again; how can they possibly follow up The Dark Knight with anything that could match it? Well, Rocksteady Studios unfortunately didn't and I'm still plenty butthurt over it. My Pitch for a Better Season 4 of Arrow

Note: This version of season 4 of   Arrow  carries over consequences of events that happened in my version of season 3. Detective Lance is sitting next to him. He promises Oliver that nobody ever found out. Oliver thanks him as he leaves. The doctor and nurse come in a remove Oliver's bandages, revealing burn marks on almost half of his face. Later, Diggle and Felicity rush in and ask him what happened. He describes the fight on the rooftop and what the Red Hood said about Ra's al Ghul. That can't be right, though, because Ra's has been dead for years. Oliver wants to find out what's going on, but his loved ones force him to stay put. We have a quiet moment between Felicity and Oliver as they ask each other if they're ok.
